Nebraska Athletic Director Trev Alberts announces spring game kickoff time

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Husker fans will get their first look at the 2024 Nebraska football team in April.

Nebraska Athletic Director Trev Alberts announced that the annual spring game will kick off at 11 a.m. on April 27.

Tickets will go on sale for season-ticket holders on Feb. 6.  The general public will be able to purchase tickets on Feb. 7.

Alberts said the 11 a.m. kickoff gives Husker fans a chance to see baseball and softball games scheduled on the same day.

“Kind of want to just celebrate Husker athletics a little bit and make it convenient for all of our fans to get a little access to some of our programs,” he said.
