Lincoln Police release results of O Street enforcement project

The Lincoln Police Department released results of its weekend traffic enforcement project. 

LPD, in partnership with the Nebraska State Patrol, conducted a high visibility enforcement along O Street between 17th Street and 84th Street to promote safe and responsible driving. 

LPD made three arrests for warrants and issued 17 speed citations. In total, 152 violations were recording, including some for traffic signal violations, seatbelt citations, and citations for insurance and registration. 

The project was funded through a grant from the Nebraska Office of Highway Safety.
