Husker Eleanor Dale signs with professional soccer club in Liverpool

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Husker soccer player is switching from the color red to the colour blue.
On Thursday, Eleanor Dale — who played three seasons with Nebraska — signed with Everton to play in the Women’s Super League.
“My time in the U.S. put me in the best position possible to get a professional contract and I can’t thank Husker soccer enough for everything it has given me,” she said in a press release.

The Billingham, England, native finished her last season in Nebraska with 28 goals and five assists.
She led the country in total goals and ranks third in Big Ten history in single-season goals.
