Authorities say a motorcyclist was killed in a crash near Palmyra on Saturday morning. 

Authorities say a motorcyclist was killed in a crash near Palmyra on Saturday morning.

The crash happened just before noon near the Palmyra sale barn.

The Otoe County Sheriff’s Office told Channel 8 Eyewitness News the motorcycle collided with a pickup truck.

The motorcyclist was killed and the pickup truck driver was taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries, authorities said.

The crash victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of their family.

The crash is under investigation.
