LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are searching for a man who had a free meal Thursday at an Olive Garden in Grand Island.

Officers were sent to the restaurant near Highway 281 and 13th Street around 6:40 p.m. on a report of forgery.

The caller reported that a man tried paying for his meal with a $100 bill that appeared to be counterfeit.

Before officers arrived, the man left the Olive Garden without paying, police said.
