Inmate convicted of robbery missing from Community Corrections Center-Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – An inmate went missing Friday morning from the Community Corrections Center-Lincoln.
The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services said Jonathan King, 47, left his job in the community.
Authorities found his electronic monitoring device near 84th and O streets.
King is 6-foot-3, 300 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call local authorities or the Nebraska State Patrol.
King was serving a 30- to 40-year sentence for two counts of robbery in Douglas County.
He had a parole hearing scheduled in November 2024, and a tentative release date of Sept. 7, 2028.
The Community Corrections Center-Lincoln is the least restrictive type of facility in the state prison system.
Inmates are allowed to go to work, school or religious services unsupervised.
