LPD: Woman stabbed man in back, threatened to kill people in apartment

A Lincoln woman is accused of stabbing a man in the back and threatening to kill other people. 

A Lincoln woman is accused of stabbing a man in the back and threatening to kill other people.

Lisa Beverly, 45, was arrested Tuesday evening for second-degree assault, use of a weapon to commit a felony and third-degree domestic assault.

Lincoln police say Beverly was acting erratic and threatened to kill everyone in an apartment in the 1300 block of F St.

Officers found a 33-year-old man with a stab wound to his lower back, police said. The man’s father told officers Beverly had punched him before the stabbing, police said.

Police say neither man suffered life threatening injuries.
