Art Bus LNK hosts art sessions for kids
Art Bus LNK will be at Hy-Vee on Village Drive this week. The mobile art studio is giving kids the chance to get creative for free.

Art Bus LNK held an art session today at the Hy-Vee on Village Drive in south Lincoln. The mobile art studio is focused on providing youth in Lincoln free access to art opportunities across the city.
The bus is complete with hardwood flooring, seating, tables, and of course brushes, paints and canvases.
Latura Indigima founded Art Bus LNK. She bought the bus off Facebook, and turned it into a full art studio. The project has taken two years to complete. Local muralists finished painting the bus just last week.
“Kids can come in, they can paint with whatever they like,” Indigima said. “We have a wide selection of paint colors, art canvases and different things for them to create with.”
Art Bus LNK will offer morning and afternoon sessions on Tuesday. Parents must fill out a sign-up sheet on Art Bus LNK’s website before attending the event.
