Lincoln Police find 29 baggies of black tar heroin in car

Nearly 30 grams of black tar heroin is off the streets after a traffic stop over the weekend.

Police said they pulled 22-year-old Dane Geischen over near 48th and Knox for a traffic stop and summoned a K-9 officer.

This caused the driver to start fighting with officers, but he was eventually handcuffed.

Police found a baggie containing a  black-tar-like substance in his pocket that they said pretested positive as heroin in the field.

A search of the car turned up 28 more baggies of the drug along with $348 cash.

Geischen went to jail for possession of heroin with intent to deliver, possession of money while in possession of the drugs and resisting arrest.
