Nebraska’s Natalie Potts named Big Ten Freshman of the Week for the eighth time

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska forward Natalie Potts is the Big Ten Freshman of the Week — again.
On Monday, the conference gave Potts her eighth Big Ten Freshman of the Week award. She won a majority of the 15 freshman honors this season.
The Missouri native had 14 points, five rebounds and four assists in the loss against Illinois on Sunday.
Potts finished the regular season averaging 10.5 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.
She is the only Big Ten freshman to win more than three weekly awards this season.
The Huskers will return to the court Thursday for the Big Ten Tournament in Minneapolis. Nebraska has a first-round bye.
