LPS celebrates National School Breakfast Week with students’ favorite entrees

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – LPS is celebrating National School Breakfast Week by serving up students’ favorite dishes.

Every day this week, Lincoln Public Schools cafeterias will feature one of the top five favorite entrees based on sales.

On Wednesday, Everett Elementary served students pancake and sausage on a stick.

Right now, 20% of LPS students eat breakfast at school.

The district hopes to get more families involved in the breakfast program.
