Deputies seize meth, needles and cash in Waverly traffic stop, sheriff’s office says

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Deputies found several drugs and cash early Friday morning during a traffic stop in Waverly, the sheriff’s office says.
Around 12:30 a.m., deputies pulled over an unregistered vehicle near 138th and Guildford streets.
Deputies searched the vehicle and found needles that pre-tested positive for methamphetamine, Capt. John Vik said.
They also discovered a “large amount” of cash, 432 grams of meth, vials of suspected LSD and 32 oxycodone pills, according to Vik.
The vehicle’s occupants — Ricki Polak, 24, and Elijah Goods, 31 — were arrested on suspicion of possessing meth with intent to deliver.
“A really good example of proactive traffic enforcement that led to getting a large amount of drugs that were destined for users in the Lancaster County area off the street,” Vik said.
