City announces pair of upcoming street closures in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Parts of two Lincoln streets are set to close on Saturday and Monday temporarily.

Seventh Street from L to M streets will be closed on Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. for utility work.

The Lincoln Transporation and Utilities Department recommends taking M Street to Eighth Street to L Street as a detour.

Southbound 11th Street from P to O streets will be closed Monday from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. for crane work.

Drivers can take P Street to 12th Street to O Street as a detour.

The city says project dates are subject to change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.
