Murder suspect appears in court

Dante Williams, a suspect in the murder of Jessica Brandon appeared in the Lancaster County Court Tuesday morning. 

He appeared via video from the Lancaster County Jail where he’s been since he was arrested in Omaha in August. 

The judge read his charges, first degree murder and use of a weapon to commit a felony and then told him he could face life in prison if convicted. 

Williams will appear in court for a preliminary hearing on November 14.
