‘A huge improvement’: Lincoln City Libraries launches redesigned website

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln City Libraries launched its newly redesigned website on Wednesday.
The city said the website features an improved digital experience, featuring expanded search capabilities and easier navigation.
The previous website, which was last updated in 2015, had “challenges with usability,” according to the city.
“Our new website represents a modern, innovative digital front door to the Lincoln City Library system, with an emphasis on accessibility and ease of use,” said Ryan Wieber, Lincoln City Libraries director, in a press release.
The website, developed by GHD Digital, cost $108,715 to redesign.
“The new website is a huge improvement for library users of all ages,” said Library Board President Dan Sloan. “Regular visitors to the site will notice right away how much easier it is to search for material, place holds, and access digital resources.”
