SCC students create wedding cakes for final exam

Southeast Community College students put their cake decorating skills to the test for a final exam Wednesday.
The students in the Pastry program had to make a wedding cake.
They had been working on them for the last week, but had just a few hours to put their 3-tiered masterpieces together.
“It’s a fun way to be creative and there’s so many things to do and products to use to make your cake look beautiful. It was really neat learning all of these things,” Tracee Tipton, a student said.
You can even get a taste of their work.
Stop by SCC on 84th and O and slices will be for sale in their restaurant, Course, while supplies last.
