Husker guard C.J. Wilcher transfers to Texas A&M

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Husker guard C.J. Wilcher is joining ex-Nebraska Athletic Director Trev Alberts in Aggieland.

Wilcher announced Monday on Instagram that he is transferring to Texas A&M, where Alberts serves as the school’s athletic director.

Last month, Nebraska was defeated by Texas A&M in its first March Madness appearance in a decade.

Wilcher spent three seasons at Nebraska, averaging 7.3 points and 1.9 rebounds in 97 games.

Before Nebraska, he spent a season at Xavier.  He has one year of eligibility remaining.
