Woman runs over man’s legs while he re-possesses her tires

A 26-year-old woman was arrested early Thursday morning after running over a man with her car. 

It happened in a parking lot near 27th and Vine street. 

Police said the victim was attempting to re-possess the tires and rims on Bothwell’s car because she hadn’t made payments on them since April. 

The victim started removing the tires when police said Bothwell got into the driver’s seat and drove away, running over his legs.

He had minor injuries and refused medical treatment. 

Police later arrested Bothwell for leaving the scene of an injury accident.
