Lincoln woman loses $26,000 in scam

A Lincoln woman lost $26,000 to an email scammer, police said.
The victim told police a scammer emailed her and told her she was being sent a box of gold.
But then the scammer told her she was sent the wrong box, and needed to send money or she would go to jail.
She did, first to a J.P. Morgan account, then to several states using a service called Money Gram and finally to more bank accounts.
