Husker softball makes first transfer portal splash of offseason

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Nebraska softball team filled major holes in its roster Monday, getting commitments from Hannah and Lauren Camenzind.
The Camenzind twins won two state titles at Omaha Skutt before spending last season at Arkansas.
Hannah, a left-handed pitcher, was an All-SEC second-team selection, finishing the season with a 9-1 record and a 3.07 ERA.
Lauren, a catcher, slashed .292/.377/.338 with 38 hits, 19 RBI, 18 runs scored, eight doubles and one home run. She also compiled a team-high .994 fielding percentage.
Both players will have two years of eligibility.
