Vase, urns stolen from mausoleum at Grand Island Cemetery; police investigating

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A vase and two urns were stolen earlier this month from a mausoleum in Grand Island, police say.
In a Facebook post Tuesday, the Grand Island Police Department asked for any information on the theft at the Grand Island Cemetery.
Investigators think someone broke the mausoleum’s lock and took the vase and two urns sometime after May 17.
The family that owns the mausoleum said the lock was intact on May 17.
An investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 308-385-5400.
