Lincoln city pool closed indefinitely due to mechanical problems
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lincoln Parks and Recreation Department announced Friday that Arnold Heights Pool will remain closed due to mechanical problems.
An inspection by Parks and Recreation staff found that the mechanical failure at the pool was worse than anticipated.
“Our team is working diligently to expedite the repair and resume normal operations as soon as possible,” said Maggie Stuckey-Ross, Parks and Recreation director. ” While we understand the disappointment this news may bring, the safety of the public remains our top priority.”
Parks and Recreation staff did not explain the mechanical problems.
Officials said a reopening date has not been determined.
