Lincoln man arrested after threatening neighbors with shotgun, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Lincoln man was arrested Friday night after threatening his neighbors with a shotgun, police say.

Officers were sent to a home near 30th and F streets just before 5:45 p.m. on reports of a man threatening a person.

Investigators learned that an ongoing dispute between neighbors turned into a confrontation, police said.

Kevin Russell, 40, threatened his neighbors from his porch with a pump-action shotgun, according to police.

He was taken to the Lancaster County Jail and lodged on suspicion of several charges, including terroristic threats and using a weapon to commit a felony.
