LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A Lincoln woman is accused of sexually assaulting her teenage son about two dozen times.

A 36-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday and charged with first-degree sexual assault of a child, incest and child abuse.

The case began on May 31, when police conducted a welfare check at her home, according to court records.

The 14-year-old boy told officers that he had been abused multiple times in the last two months, an arrest affidavit says.

He was removed from the home as the investigation continued, according to court documents.

In his next interview, the boy estimated that he was sexually assaulted 25 or more times.

The woman’s bond has been set at $750,000. She must pay 10% of that, $75,000, to get out of jail.

Her next court appearance is scheduled for July 11.
