The Nebraska women’s team was led by Rhema Otabor as she secured her second-consecutive NCAA title in the javelin throw.
The Nassau, Bahamas, native threw 210 feet, 7 inches to break numerous records.
That distance broke the collegiate record, NCAA championship meet record, school record and the Bahamian record.
Otabor is the first Husker to win back-to-back titles since 2003-04.
