UPS AND DOWNS THROUGH THE WEEKEND
Cooler temperatures coming our way Thursday behind a second cold front passes through Nebraska tonight. We’ll have to watch out for patchy frost Friday morning as temperatures drop to the mid-30°s. The projection of frost for Friday morning is a little difficult right now because we should see cloud cover passing over southeast Nebraska at times, which will allow temperatures to bounce up a couple degrees.
We start a brief warming trend Friday, as temperatures climb to near 60°. Saturday should jump another 10°-15° before another cold front passes through the area. This could bring a few sprinkles/showers to the area Saturday night/Sunday morning. The bigger story will be chilly temperatures Sunday as some will struggle to get out of the 40°s.
