LPD investigating after man shows up at hospital with gunshot wound

Authorities are investigating after a man showed up at a Lincoln hospital after being shot. 

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Authorities are investigating after a man showed up at a Lincoln hospital after being shot.

Lincoln police say the 21-year-old man arrived at the hospital around 4:45 a.m. Saturday with a gunshot wound to his leg.

The man’s injuries are considered to be non-life threatening.

Officers were called around 4:30 a.m. to a report of gunshots in the area of 30th and L St. where they found shell casings along the west side of Woods Park.

Police are investigating whether the incidents are related.
