Cool wrapping up June then comes July heat.

Lows in many areas overnight will be ten degrees plus below normal.

Highs will be also be well below normal as we wrap up June.

After midnight Sunday towards Monday morning storms are possible through a large portion of Nebraska.

A quick turn around as we roll back into the heat reaching 90’s by Tuesday.

A series of disturbances from a mid-level trough moving in from our northwest will help trigger off thunderstorms in the overnight hours of Sunday into Monday and further add to possibilities after that.  A cool front Monday night into Tuesday could also add to possible convection for storms as the heat cranks up into the 90’s. Temps drop heading into Friday followed by another round of hot weather through next weekend and beyond.
