Pedestrian killed in west Lincoln crash is identified
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The pedestrian who was killed Saturday in a crash in west Lincoln has been identified.
The Lincoln Police Department said John Wayne Gross, 62, was in the median near Sun Valley Boulevard and West O Street when he was hit by a vehicle.
Gross was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
The driver, 30-year-old Vanesa Nicole Williams, was found to be under the influence of drugs, according to police.
She was arrested on suspicion of felony motor vehicle homicide.
