Nebraska man seriously injured after falling 25 feet off storage building roof

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was seriously injured Wednesday after falling off a roof in northeast Nebraska.

The Stanton County Sheriff’s Office said it happened at the Pilger Co-Op around 10:40 a.m.

A 52-year-old Stanton man was trying to clean a vent at the top of a storage building when he lost his balance and fell more than 25 feet.

He was taken to a hospital in Norfolk before being flown to the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.

The sheriff’s office is investigating the fall.
