Athlete of the Week: Lincoln Saltdogs’ Alex Baeza hits for the cycle

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Lincoln Saltdogs first baseman Alex Baeza is on a historic run, hitting for the cycle on July 21.

Baeza was awarded the American Association of Professional Baseball’s Player of the Week Award after his career-high road trip in Kansas City and Cleburne, Texas.

It was the first cycle for a Saltdog since 2017.
