WATCH: Man hides behind bushes while trespassing at Lincoln home

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are searching for a suspicious man who was spotted trespassing Friday night at a central Lincoln home.

Around 11:45 p.m., security video captured the man standing near trash cans at the home near 27th and Van Dorn streets.

Once the floodlights turned on, he hid in the bushes near the front window.

The man, who appeared to have long hair and tattoos on his left arm, eventually left the area, police said.

Police have received similar reports of trespassers in the area.

On March 26, officers were sent to a home near 33rd and Pawnee streets after a man was spotted watching a woman from her bathroom window.

Officers were unable to find the man, according to police.

On July 19, a man was spotted peeking into a nearby home’s bathroom window while a woman was showering, police said.

Investigators are unsure if it’s the same person for all instances, but an investigation is ongoing.
