Two teens caught with stolen vehicle in central Lincoln, police say
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two teens were caught Sunday evening driving a stolen vehicle in central Lincoln, police say.
Around 6:45 p.m., officers were sent to 35th and N streets on a report of two males donning ski masks and walking into a vacant home.
Officers spotted a stolen vehicle parked down the street, and they took a 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy into custody, police said.
During an investigation, officers learned that the teens arrived in the stolen vehicle, which was taken Saturday near 61st Street and Pine Lake Road.
Both boys were lodged in the Youth Services Center on suspicion of felony theft.
