Lincoln man accused of sexually assaulting girl for a decade

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Lincoln man is facing several felony charges in a sexual assault investigation, court documents say.
Franwil Castillo, 38, was charged Monday with five felonies, including first-degree sexual assault of a child and possession of child pornography.
On April 11, a 17-year-old girl reported the sexual assault to the Lincoln Police Department, launching an investigation, an arrest affidavit said.
Investigators learned that the sexual assault began when the victim was 7 years old, according to the affidavit.
Police said there were also recordings of the sexual assault on a cell phone.
Castillo was booked into the Lancaster County Jail on Sunday. A judge has set his bond at $1.5 million, meaning he must pay $150,000 to be released from jail.
