Pedestrian suffers serious injures in crash on West O Street in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A pedestrian was injured Thursday morning after being hit by a vehicle in west Lincoln.

The crash happened near First and West O streets around 5:45 a.m.

A Lincoln Police Department crash report says the pedestrian, a 26-year-old woman, “suddenly entered” the road and was hit by a car.

Police said the woman was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

The driver of the car was not ticketed.

Westbound O Street was shut down as LPD investigated the crash.  It has since been reopened.
