LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A car crashed into a gas meter late Thursday night in north Lincoln.

Just after 10 p.m., first responders were called to 26th and W streets.

They found a car on its side and a gas meter ripped off of a home, according to Lincoln Fire & Rescue.

The driver was not injured, but LFR said the crash caused a leak in the home’s gas service line.

Crews went into the home and an adjacent building but did not detect gas.

Black Hills Energy responded to stop the leak.

Lincoln Police have not said what caused the crash.
