‘Voice of the Huskers’ Greg Sharpe recognized at Kansas City Chiefs game
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Husker announcer Greg Sharpe was honored Monday night at the New Orleans vs. Kansas City football game.
It was part of the Chiefs’ Crucial Catch event, which recognizes cancer survivors.
Sharpe, known as the “Voice of the Huskers,” is being treated for pancreatic cancer.
He was interviewed before the game, and his family shared pictures of them at Arrowhead Stadium with Channel 8.
Sharpe’s family thanked Memories for Kids in Omaha and Mitch Holthus, the “Voice of the Chiefs,” for making the event happen.
