29 more members of Nebraska Task Force One deploy as Hurricane Milton hits
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Twenty-nine additional members of Nebraska Task Force One have been sent to the Southeast as another hurricane hits the region.
Lincoln Fire & Rescue announced the deployment on Wednesday as Hurricane Milton made landfall in Florida.
LFR said the 29 members have already joined the rest of the task force in Georgia.

The search and rescue team has been reassigned to help in the aftermath of Milton and is awaiting its orders.
“Thank you to our families and crews at home for supporting NE-TF1 in their efforts,” LFR said on Facebook. “Keeping all those affected in our thoughts.”
