Lincoln North Star defeats Grand Island, is off to best start in a decade
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Lincoln North Star took down Grand Island on Friday night in Channel 8’s Game of the Week.
The final score was 13-7, with all points coming in the first half.
North Star forced two turnovers in the first quarter with a strip sack and a tipped interception.
The Navigators hung on for a tight finish to improve to 5-2, their best start to a season since 2014.
The Islanders fall to 0-7 on the year, still searching for their first win.
