Grand Island Police investigating deadly shooting

(KHGI) — Grand Island police said they are investigating a homicide in the northeast part of the city.
GIPD reported Thursday morning, that a 32-year-old man died during his treatment at the St. Francis Emergency Room, after being shot multiple times.
On Wednesday around 9:15 p.m. Grand Island Police Department said they responded to an area on 11th and Evans Street.
Multiple neighbors tell our partner station KHGI they heard gunshots and screaming from the apartments.
The complex is near Lincoln Elementary.
Several Grand Island police officers were on scene and several investigators were called in, including the head of the investigation division.
According to GIPD, no arrests have been made as of yet.
A police officer with a dog was going through the neighborhood while officers placed cones to mark evidence.
