Disaster Snap Benefits approved for nine Nebraska counties

The United State Department of Agriculture and the Nebraska Department of Health And Human Services has approved the Disaster Supplemental Assistance Program for flood victims.

Individuals who qualify are in nine eastern Nebraska Counties, DHHS is opening assistance sites in those counties to help those in need.

Many counties still remain without clean drinking water and access to food.

This program is meant to help them.
