Two men on the loose after robbery in north Lincoln

Lincoln Police say two men are on the loose after robbing a 36-year-old Lincoln man, just before midnight on Monday near 58th and R Streets.

LPD reports that the victim was walking when two men approached him and asked what was in a bag he was carrying.

When he refused to tell them, they attacked him and struck him several times in the face.

They stole items from his wallet and ran off.

One of the suspect’s was carrying a baseball bat, but didn’t use it during the attack.

One man is described as white male, the other a black male, both medium build.

The 36-year-old victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital.
