LPD officer involved in west Lincoln crash

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Lincoln Police officer was involved in a Wednesday evening crash in west Lincoln.
The crash happened just before 9 p.m. at Rosa Parks Way and South Folsom Street.
Police said a Honda Accord went through a stop sign, leading to a collision with an officer’s cruiser at the intersection.
The cruiser’s camera system recorded the crash.
The driver of the Honda, a 66-year-old Lincoln man, was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
LPD said the officer was not injured.
