Court documents say Sallie Gilmer, then 15, and her boyfriend, then-16-year-old Isaac Honigschmidt, planned the murder a week in advance.
Gilmer was tired of her parents’ “constant fighting” and mental abuse from her father, according to an arrest affidavit.
So police said Honigschmidt gave her a ride to the apartment that day so she could stab her father.
They went back to school for a brief time, then returned to the apartment so Gilmer could “discover” her father, the affidavit says.
Honigschmidt also tried to make it appear as though he and Gilmer were at school when the murder happened, according to police.
He is awaiting trial on a charge of aiding and abetting and is due back in court Jan. 15.
Gilmer is set to be sentenced on Jan. 30. She faces 20 years to life in prison.
