Man hit by vehicle during argument at north Lincoln park, affidavit says

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man is accused of hitting another man with a vehicle at a north Lincoln park last month.
Keltavious Dotson, BLANK AGE, was arrested Monday on suspicion of second-degree assault and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony.
On Oct. 27, a man was at Roper Park’s east parking lot when a station wagon, driven by Dotson, pulled in, an arrest affidavit says.
The man thought Dotson was responsible for a burglary that he reported earlier this year and an argument began, according to the affidavit.
During the dispute, Dotson drove “at a high rate of speed” toward the victim and hit him with the vehicle, the affidavit alleges.
The victim fell to the ground and suffered a fractured elbow and knee. Dotson crashed into the victim’s vehicle before leaving the area, police said.
Investigators later identified Dotson as the driver of the station wagon and he was taken into custody on Monday.
A Lancaster County judge set his bond at $7,500, meaning he must pay $750 to be released from jail.
