Nebraska flu deaths reach 39

The Douglas County Health Department confirmed that three more people have died from the flu, bringing the total in the county to seven.

The most recent deaths were all people 65 and older.

More than 300 flu cases were reported in the county this past week.

This flu season there have been 2,600 flu cases in the state.

39 people have died throughout Nebraska.
