LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A teen died Saturday after being hit by a vehicle in Omaha, police say.

Around 7 p.m., officers were sent to 156th and West Dodge streets on a crash involving a pedestrian.

Police said officers found a 14-year-old boy near the 156th Street exit ramp and began life-saving measures.

He was then taken to a hospital, where he later died.

Police said the boy was crossing the Dodge Expressway when a westbound Chevrolet Silverado hit him.
