Lincoln man caught with heroin after chase on country roads, patrol says

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A man led troopers on a chase late Monday night in a rural area outside of Lincoln, the Nebraska State Patrol says.
It started when Jesse Stinson, 27, of Lincoln ran a red light at Northwest 20th and West O streets, according to the patrol.
A trooper tried to pull him over, but the patrol said Stinson sped off to the west.
The trooper gave chase, and when Stinson turned south onto Southwest 98th Street, state patrol helicopters took over.
The pilots tracked the car on county roads until a Milford Police officer slowed it down with stop sticks, the patrol said.
Stinson parked and ran into a wooded area, troopers said.
About 10:40 p.m., he came out of the woods and was arrested, according to the patrol.
Troopers said they found heroin and drug paraphernalia in Stinson’s car.
He was booked in the Lancaster County Jail on suspicion of flight to avoid arrest, willful reckless driving, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a revoked license and multiple warrants.
