Man held on $250,000 bond in sexual assault of teen at Norfolk motel

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A 31-year-old man is accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl at a Norfolk motel.
Skyler Hungerford appeared in Madison County Court on Tuesday on a charge of first-degree sexual assault of a child.
A judge set his bond at $250,000, meaning he would need to pay $25,000 to get out of jail.
On Thanksgiving, Hungerford picked up a 15-year-old girl from Stanton County, according to court documents.
He took her to the Norfolk Country Inn and rented a room, where an arrest affidavit says he raped her multiple times that night.
On Friday, the girl’s family learned where she was and called police.
Officers arrived at the motel and found Hungerford with the teen, the affidavit says.
The girl was reunited with her family, and Hungerford was arrested.
His next court appearance is scheduled for Dec. 10.
