Swatting calls about shootings target Lincoln schools
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Several false reports of shootings were made at Lincoln schools on Friday, according to an email from one principal.
A veterans hotline has been receiving reports of shootings, Principal Casey Fries said in an email to Lincoln East High School families.
Fries emphasized that there have been no shootings.
“This appears to be a part of the recent hoaxes over the last several weeks where fake crisis calls come into emergency centers,” he wrote.
